28 April 2016 | Cross River Rail – City-building Transport and Innovation
Following the release of the State Infrastructure Plan, the Queensland Government launched the South East Queensland’s Rail Horizon outlining strategies to revitalise and transform the rail network. Solutions include optimising the network, unlocking additional capacity, introducing European Train Control System (ETCS) and expanding the network through key projects such as the new Cross River Rail announced on 7 April 2016.
Cross River Rail is a critical solution to address challenges of a growing population, it’s also a catalyst for city-building, liveability and productivity, which provides platforms for development and economic growth.
At this breakfast you’ll have the opportunity to engage with the Cross River Rail project team in a dynamic panel format about the exciting evolution of this project, next steps and platforms for innovation, including value capture and ETCS. The team will be joined by Institution of Railway Signal Engineers and other specialist consultants.
