12th Annual New Caledonia Business Forum
Our CEO, Steve Abson, was invited to speak at this major bilateral business event of the year which was held in Brisbane on 14th October, 2016 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
In attendance at the event was the Hon Philippe Germain, President of the New Caledonia Government. It was the first time a President of the New Caledonia Government has attended this event. The Australian Government was represented by Mr Richard Sisson, Assistant Secretary, Pacific Bilateral and New Zealand Branch, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

National Transport Commission
IAQ were invited to attend a land transport regulation 2040 workshop in Brisbane on 2 November 2016, run by NTC Australia. The discussion was rich with ideas and NTC found the opportunity to engage with so many analytical thinkers and viewpoints invaluable. Please find here a PDF of the slide pack used on the day.

Also in June 2015 IAQ welcomed the release of the Delivering an Infrastructure Plan for Queensland Directions Paper which acknowledges the vital role that Infrastructure Investment plays in economic growth and employment opportunities.
